Heather is a dynamic powerhouse known for her many talents and dedication to empowering Midwest farm families. As a bestselling author, captivating speaker, and advocate for succession planning, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her work. Heather’s journey has shaped her into the advocate and speaker she is today.
It all began with her pursuit of a bachelor’s degree at South Dakota State University and later went on to get her Master’s Degree in Managment at Doane in NE. Heather spent 17 years working in corporate America where she gained valuable experience in various facets of business, including navigating large acquisitions. However, her family responsibilities led her back to South Dakota, so her husband could take over the family farm.
This return to her roots marked a pivotal moment for Heather, as she discovered her passion for assisting other farm families in transitioning their operations. Over the years, she has helped numerous families navigate the complexities of succession planning, ensuring the financial stability and continuity of their farms. Recognizing the power of education in empowering families to make informed decisions, Heather began conducting informative workshops, both virtually and in person. These workshops have been instrumental in providing valuable knowledge and guidance to farm families across the Midwest.
