What is the plan for 2026?
Al has been trading and charting the grain markets for over 40 years. In his marketing presentations, Al shows what he predicts will work–and what didn’t. Al starts his presentations by going through his outlook and plan from last year: What was our analysis? Our plan? And then… What ended up happening? Where did it leave us?
This, he points out, is how every farmer should approach their marketing: Look at your results in the cold light of day, and then make your plan for the next round. Learn from history–including your history–and you will become a better marketer.
What happens to the markets after an election?
Yes, indeed. Price patterns are different in election years, and Al Kluis will show how this impacted the seasonal patterns for corn and soybeans in 2025. He’ll also outline his three-step risk management plan and provide specific price and time targets for selling your cash corn and soybeans and strategies for your 2025 and 2026 crops.
It’s not all about US politics. The grain markets are heavily influenced by events beyond US borders.
Al’s presentation shows how the war in Ukraine has changed the global grain markets, and how you need to adjust your marking plan. Al will review the current weather and crop outlook in South America and what you need to do to fine-tune your marketing plan this year. Al will explain what marketing plans work, and what to avoid. With over 40 years of experience, Al can provide a unique insight into what to expect in 2024.
