Known in baseball as `The Wizard,` Ozzie emerged as the best defensive shortstop of all time. Performing magic with his glove and playing baseball with amazing acrobatic agility, he broke countless records during his 17 year career. His records include: All-time assist leader at shortstop, 13 consecutive Gold Glove awards and 10 consecutive years as the National League starting shortstop in the All-Star game. In addition to his success on the field, Ozzie has also been a great ambassador to baseball earning numerous national and local humanitarian awards. Currently he is a successful business man, operating a temporary staffing agency, a sports restaurant and a marketing company.
